Microsoft has over the past few years made great progress in deploying voice and UC (Unified Communications) solutions within their Windows environment. This move into voice and indeed video communications started back in 2003 with the launch of their LCS (Live Communications Server), then OCS (Office Communications Server) and now we have Lync, launched in 2010 this is now a tangible solution for an enterprise and cloud based voice and video communication solution.  Much of our work includes integrating traditional videoconferencing and modern telepresence networks into the Microsoft™ OCS and Lync™ environments.

We see Lync™ as one of the call control platforms that will vie for leadership as the call control platform of choice for a wide range of users. For certain sectors, such as education, where licencing and cost of ownership Microsoft is low, we see the call for Lync as being almost irresistible. 

Our capability to design, install and support such installations is extended by our knowledge of traditional video conferencing systems and the emerging telepresence networks, allowing us to integrate these two environments into a seamless single voice and video network for our clients.
