Helpdesk AV/VC Engineer & AV Design/Pre-Sales Support

First Connections are the UK’s leading visual communications reseller based in Basingstoke. We are looking for a keen, confident and enthusiastic person to join our technical managed services team. You will be working directly with our key customer accounts providing technical assistance and support for Video Conferencing, TelePresence and AV remotely. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience with AV and/or VC however full training will be given. You must be able to work well alone and to use initiative, but equally as important to work well within your team, good customer service skills is a must.

This opening is primarily providing assistance on our technical helpdesk between the hours of 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday, the position is in our Basingstoke Office. The role will be desk based, offering immediate support for AV avd VC related issues on our helpdesk, via telephone, email and video. In addition to the primary role we are looking for a dynamic candidate to also provide pre-sales consultancy and design expertise particular with Audio Visual systems  to our sales teams.

Mandatories: Good experience in addition to excellent understanding and knowledge of AV equipment and installations, consultancy and design skills, e.g. Display Screens, Projectors, AMX, Crestron, Amplifiers, Speakers, cabling, DIY skills etc

Installations Engineer

First Connections are the UK’s leading visual communications reseller based in Basingstoke. We are looking for a keen, confident and enthusiastic person to join our installations team. The candidate must have some experience with AV and ideally with Videoconferencing/TelePresence. You must be able to work well alone and to use initiative, but equally as important to work well within your team, good customer service skills is a must.

This opening is for a trainee field based installation engineer located in the South region.
